Did I set up my profile correctly?

When I originally started on MFP, I had set up my profile to try to lose 2 lbs a week. I chose the sedintary selection as I sit at a desk most of the day and was working out at least 3 days a week. My goal was around 1500 calories. Once I hit a plateau after losing 40 lbs I changed the profile to 1 lb a week and I'm exercising 2 to 3 days a week but I will be increasing that to 5 days a week and my calorie goal is a little over 2,000 calories. Does that sound like a reasonable setting for me? My weight is between 247-250 and I am looking to lose at least 40-50 more lbs to hit my goal. Any help, suggestions, or new friends and supporters appreciated!

    Ok, thanks. I'm at the point where I'm questioning it because I was doing so well and then I stopped losing weight. I know it happens, but then my discipline and motivation started going right out the window. I've reeled it back in so hopefully I can get over this hump.

    I mess with my calories every month or so. Keeps me on my toes :). I've never really plateaued (only been stuck at the same weight for two weeks at most then I lose again), and I think it's because of that. :) You got this!!!
