I am currently taking a multi vitamin for women but am wondering if I need to balance that out with other vitamins like omega 3. I don't have a health giant like GNC where I live. Any advice on additional vitamins to include?

I take Beachbody Activit Body toning multi vitamins, Cal-meg, Omega, and then Glucosamine for my joints since I workout hard daily. I dont buy from GNC b/c when I went in there one day and asked them for a recovery drink they sold me a protein shake. So I was not pleased w/ the service that i was given by a person that acted educated. Not to say everyone is like that there but that put a bad taste in my mouth that i am sure that anyone can relate to w/ customer service in any retail atmosphere.

I also take a women's complete multi-vitamin but also take fish oil and glucosamine chondroitin for my joints since I do alot of high impact workouts. Talk to your doctor and ask what he suggest for you. Each person is different and supplements should be treated likewise.

im a vitamin freakkk. i normally take my multivitamin for women, then like caltrate - for women for bone health. i also take vitamin e. liguid vitamin b complex. i have an oz or two of aloe.

u dont have to take an omega 3 if u have a serving of nuts, like walnuts, there are others i am just not sure.

i dont always have the b complex but it stimulates ur metabolism.

but i suggest taking the caltrate - mine is just Equate calcium 600 + d + minerals.

    good luck :)

In addition to the standard GNC Mega Men multivitamin which includes 1,600 IU of vitamin D-3 now, I also take Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega, 1,000 mg Fish Oil. I do buy my vitamins from the local store. But, I believe you can also get GNC products from Amazon. Vitamins are the only thing I buy from that store though. I found that GNC's prices tend to be much higher than what I can get through Amazon or NutritionWholesalers.com. For example, I buy the largest container of Nature's Best Isopure Whey Protein Isolate online for approximately $75, but at GNC the same container costs over $140.
