Has anyone ever tried the flatbread wraps called flatouts? I bought some yesterday in an attempt for my husband to eat healthier at work. It kinda taste like I have toothpaste in my mouth when I eat them but I can get over that to eat healthy. Anyways what are some ideas I could use them for? I have already done deli sliced turkey wrap and make a pizza. Would appreciate any ideas! Thanks!

I season them and toast them, then dip them in hummus0

I'm a big fan! I make those things with them & also tacos, mexican pizza's, enchilada's. Basically anything you need to wrap. One time found a recipe to cut them in strips and coat with cooking spray & bake in the oven to make chips~~that I don't recommend unless you enjoy eating cardboard....actually cardboard may have more flavor!0

I really like them. I use the flax seed one and make buffalo chicken pizza the most. I have also used them to make a panini/ grilled cheese adult style. Yummo0

I use them when I make m homemade chicken sald or tuna salad and use them as wraps. I love the taste of them as does hubby. The light italian ones are really good!! I've even done teh honey wheat with peanut butter. YUM! We've made pizzas from them. toasted and dipped with hummus sounds yummy as well!0

I use the wraps a lot, the honey wheat flavor is my fave... the least cardboard taste to me.
Also try the flatout crisps... they are like crackers, only A LOT healthier... 15 crisps is like 120 cals, 5g fiber and 5g protein. I eat them instead of crackers/potato chips.0 -
I was just thinking about buying these tonight at the grocery store! I think I am gonna give them a try...I need something new in my diet!0

I use the 100% Whole wheat ones. For dinner the other night I made Euro's with them using grilled shrimp instead of regular Euro meat. I also use them for a light lunch, smear with a tablespoon or two of your favorit hummus, mixed greens, greek salad, tuna fish, and a little feta cheese.0

I made a pizza with them yestersay but didnt have low fat and didnt feel like making pizza sauce ( i used left over spaghetti sauce) it ebded up being 418 calories. I am going to try them again next week after I make my pizza sauce and get some low fat cheese.
Also any ideas for cold wraps? My hubby can't always take things that need to be heated.0 -

The kind of leave a taste like when you eat something after you brush your teeth, but my hubby eats alot of sandwhiches so I wanted to get something healthier that would keep him full.0
