Hello,

I am trying to get this extra (middle) that I have inherited since reaching the ripe age of 58. The plan says I need to eat no more than 1200 calories a day. Yesterday was my first time trying it out and I was starving! Hopefully it will get better at time goes along.:grumble:

It's great if you like fresh fruit and veg. Salad and steamed neg you can have as much as you like pretty much... also lean meats. Sauces are not good, neither bread - soooo expensive calorie wise.... I empathise - I can't go hungry!

Try eating lots of whole foods - they give you a better feeling of fullness and satisfaction. Vegetables have a lot of volume, fiber and are low in calories.

Also - the calories you burn working out you get to eat! So if you just can't live on 1,200 a day then you get to "earn" more food by exercising! MFP already builds in your caloric deficit for weight loss so you will lost even though you are eating more!

    You can do it!

    Hello and welcome,:flowerforyou:
I was like that about the calories at first too,
but most of the time now, I have trouble trying to eat it all.

Also the more you exercise, the more MFP will give you
to eat..and the exercise can be anything that you enjoy,
just move your body, cleaning, if you have a Wii system
you can play tennis or bowling, put on music to dance!
It's endless, just move, go for walks if you can!

I wish you much success in reaching all of your goals!
Please feel free to add me for suppport!
