I was wondering what you ALL think about chest tattoos on women. I've always wanted one but it has to be something quite meaningful and tastefully done. I don't want swallows on either side with a skull and roses..
So what do you think? Yay or Nay?

depends on what it was. Open to the idea.0

Love 'em. Love tattoos in general, though.0

Love tats, have many myself. For some reason the chest tats on women... ehhhhhh I would have to see it. Would it be visible in a shirt? Some are just pure awful... LOL0
-
If done right I think it can be very attractive. Make sure you know the artist.0

I go with "yay," although I wouldn't prefer one in that area myself. I've been having fun reading Inked Magazine and Inked Girls Mag. The former has great stories on all sorts of topics, the latter, great inspiration.
Have fun with it!0 -

I agree! Years ago I wanted to get my daughter's handprints with some black and white and random colored flowers, but I don't know anymore. bahhh.0 -
Hot hot hot!0

I wanted ink; someone with a lot of experience advised me to choose a design and tape it up somewhere (eg side of my computer screen) where I'll see it every day, and only use it if I still like it after at least three months.
This is why I don't have ink. :bigsmile:0 -
I Love the look!
My husband wants me to get a chest piece. He thinks its hot haha0 -
When I was 16 I almost got a tribal "tramp stamp"... no offense if you got one lol... buttttt SO glad I didnt! hahahaLove tats, have many myself. For some reason the chest tats on women... ehhhhhh I would have to see it. Would it be visible in a shirt? Some are just pure awful... LOL

I agree...I love tattoos and several of my female friends have them on their chest and some I like and others are better off not having them there...I believe tattoos are really a personal preference and should be up to the person getting the tattoo...I have heard that when getting the tattoo on the breast bone is the worse pain ever, worse than child birth...at least that is what I have been told.0 -
I love tattoos and think that a nice, tasteful custom piece on a lass is gorgeous. It literally is having an open heart, I think - just displaying it for the world to see.
I've spoke to a lot of guys about chest pieces and it seems that there are less guys that like them (on girls) than girls that don't like them (on girls). I think it has something to do with breasts - like having a chest piece reduces feminity or some nonsense like that.
It does also come down to shape though. Some shapes just don't suit them, just like styles of clothes, I reckon. You look lke you have the kind of fifure that would look fantastic with one though.
That said, it all comes down to what individuals want to do to their own bodies.0 -
No matter what the tattoo is, the person who wears it is what makes it special.
Personally, I think they're beautiful (not just tattoos in general, but chest pieces on girls specifically).
Judging from the sense of personality that comes out in your profile pic, I'd say you could pull it off nicely!
Either way, it's a very personal (and permanent) decision, so take it lightly! Well, I'm sure you've already thought through that if you're considering a chest tat, so my apologies if it sounded like I was talking down to you.
Best of luck with your decision!0 -
YAY! You would rock a chest piece.0

I've had 2 c-sections so I don't even know what real child birth feels like! =/0 -
I just got one on my left collar bone/chest area. Its mostly hidden under shirts which is what I wanted. Ive seen some really pretty full chest pieces on women but I personally wouldnt want one. I like that part of a womans body as is. Its sexy!0

I love this reply. I think if the tattoo is done well they're[the boobs] more fun to look at! And thank you! ♥0 -

I have a delightful personality! Just ask all my MFP friends! haw haw. You don't at all sound like you're talking down to me. Just your opinion! And thank you!! [=0 -
It'd look hot on you........that's what I think.0

What did you get??
It is sexy! But I tend to want to be a wee bit more fun than just a blank canvas. Maybe if I had huge knockers I'd reconsider.0 -

There. changed my pic so you can see. you are stunning and could totally rock a chest piece by the way. Like really... beautiful!0 -
For me it depends. As many have said, some are awful but I'm open to the idea. I think as long as it's not too OTT or too 'tacky' then it's fine, but each to their own.0

I have 16 tattoos and refuse to have one on my chest. My regular tattoo guy tried to get me to put the phoenix I have on my left hip on my chest and I told him that I didnt want a comedians rubber chicken later in life. He just laughed and said, I understand.0
-
Was not wanting that to sound negative. It is personal choice but do consider your breast size(the larger they are the more they will sag) unless you are going more for the shoulder like the kick butt one of the chick on here with the shoulder piece.0

I completely understand what you're saying. Which is why I asked for opinions, though I do know it's ultimately up to me.
My boobs aren't really all that big so I don't think I'll have a problem there, unlike some of you other lucky ladies on here!!0
