Mine have gone from a 38D to my now 34-36DD.

So they are shrinking around, but cup size is actually getting bigger.

When I was 30 and lost weight, I didn't lose mine. I was the same weight and physical size I am now - and stayed at a 32D. Now, I'm 40 - having gained the weight back and lost it again - this time, I'm a 32B. I wasn't even a B in high school. DH thinks it's because I'm a runner now and wasn't in my 30's and that I now have "runner's boobs". I do have to say at least the 32B I have are perky for my age - no sagging here.
  • Am i seriously the first guy to post in a BOOBIE thread?

    You've all gone soft.

6 months in I haven't lost a single inch around my boobs, so it definitely depends. In high school when I was thinner than now, I had D cups, and as I got bigger I'm now in B cups...meaning my band size got fatter, but my boobs did not, yes? genetics can definitely play a part in that!

Pretty bad if you've gone all soft in a topic about tata's.

this thread will NOT likely attract Heather because of the title alone...i'm sure she's shuddering!

My band size went down by one. Cup is the same. I don't expect to lose much of them unless my body fat percentage really drops.

    Genetics definitely plays a part.

Started out 34DD. I will probably wind up being a 34C or 32D. This after only 15 lbs lost. I am very happy to be smaller up top.

It also has a lot to do with your age! When you're under 25 much more of your breast is made up of breast tissue than body fat- as you age your breast tissue actually shrinks and you get more body fat in the breast. So (in general) your cup size won't change much if you're young but if you're a lot older it could drop more than it used to!

I had C/D cups and I just had a preventative mastectomy this spring. I was kinda surprised to find out that most people seemed to think a C cup is too small? I wanted a size that would be easy to find bras, and look good when I DO lose the weight. I'm almost done with the reconstruction and they do feel a little small but hopefully after I lose another 50 pounds things will look better!

    GOOD LUCK!

    Speaking as a man.
Boobs are a nice plus, but the "whole package" is much more appealing to me.
  • Well, just like in real life, there HAS to be 2 boobies.....threads that is.

I'm sure everyone is different but they should change in some way
It wast the first thing to go for me 36f down to 34d still not bad but a big difference for me

    :)
  • My mom has small boobs.. I am talking 34A.
I have 36Ds which is odd.
When I llost 30 pounds the last time My booobs cup size was the same but i could fit into a 34D. :)

Hm... unfortunately, I've never been blessed in that dept... it was the one nice thing about gaining weight. ;-) I do work with a woman who has some pretty big ta-tas. She's lost quite a bit of weight, but I don't think she's lost any in that dept! In fact, I think the smaller rest of her makes them appear even bigger! She told me she has always had them, so maybe it is genetic.
