A friend asked me to partner her in a boxing class this morning. I had done some boxing at my other gym and loved it. So I bought some cute pink gloves and went along.

I was woeful! My friend and I had a lot of trouble getting into a rhythm, I had trouble with the instructions, and what's more I only burnt about 300 cals (usually I burn about 500 in zumba or other classes). So I don't know whether I will persist or whether I should just stick to the other classes.

Did anyone else have trouble getting the hang of paired up boxing class?

Persist at it, it does take 2-3 classes to get used to it but once you do you will never look back (well that is my opinion anyway).

Once you get used to it you will find you will burn more calories as you will get a lot faster! :)

    It becomes very addictive!!!

It can be hard to get the right rythym depending on the partners, the instructor, and the structure of the class. If you have enjoyed it then stick with it. Boxing adds a unique dimension to your workout! You will get the flow going and should burn many more calories.

You and your pink gloves hang in there for a while! It's not rocket science. : )
