30 DS - Question

I have recently started doing the 30 DS which everyone who has done knows it is brutual the first few days.

Now, I am completely sore. Literally hurting to move. Thigh posing issues when standing and sitting.

I realize that feeling the burn is a good thing. It lets me know it is working. Here is my question,

Does everyond try to do 30 days consecutively? Or do you break it up and give your muscles a chance to relax?

I mean why would they put out a 30 days workout program if it wasn't meant to be done back to back right?

I am confused if I should keep going given my state of soreness only 3 days in. Or give my body a rest day.

Any Suggestions?

  • I have not used this perticular program, however, i have found that when I am doing a vigorous work out routine, if i take a break to rest... the burn just comes back each time. If you work on through the burn for the next for days, it will go and stay gone!

First of all....are you imagining Jillian and her two perky assistants when you do the punches?

Here is what I have found....the two minute cool down was not enough for me. Now as soon as it ends I snap off the tv and take off on at least 20 minute walk. I spend the first couple of minutes doing the arm warm ups and punches and lifts to help cool down every thing.

Then take two aleves! If you are having cramping in legs at night....eat a banana a day!

Stick with it! I fell off the wagon and skipped two days...Now I am kicking myself, Lost about 5 inches in the first week alone!

Odd you suggest that. I actucally upped my potassum, fiber, and protein to try to counter-act the soreness, yesterday. Ty for the suggestions ^.^
