How many times have I said that to myself? This time I'll lose those 8 kg for good. Come on, it's 8 kg it can't be that difficult! people on here have lost staggering amounts of weight, and I'm still here faffing around about it, how hard can it be?
Well after bashing myself up a little bit, I pick myself up again. 5 or 6 yrs ago I lost a 6 kg eating absolutely normally for 6 days a week, and then having just lean protein and veggies one day a week -wenesdays work well socially- (no fat or salt allowed, a few drops of lemon juice at the most) and fruit between meals. It worked, it really did. Of course the rest of the week I ate like a normal 'non fat' person, i.e. not obsessed with food, which usually turned out to be: a couple of biscuits and milk for breakfast, pasta for lunch, meat or fish and veggies for supper.
It took me 10 months to lose those those 6 kg, but you know what? If I hadn't gone through a very bad/very large patch with food (due to other issues) a while after that, the weight wouldn't have come back.
So here I am again, giving this method another try, only I can't bare the food without proper seasoning or even a little extra virgin olive oil, so for my 'thin wenesday' I'll go with protein shakes. I'm having promax diet chocolate shake. Not too bad, with a drop of orange essence added to it
Sorry for the long boring post guys, feel free to ignore
