I'm definitely not an expert in that area but your symptoms sound very similar to mine when I had severe food poisoning a couple of months back. It was not one of the usual salmonella or similar types and when I eventually went to a doctor, I was put on antibiotics to clear it... I wasn't right for about another 2 weeks.
I would seriously suggest a trip to the doctor where they can accurately diagnose. If it is something like a parasite, you don't want that in you for longer than necessary either!0 -
I am no expert but I thought that food took about 24-36 hours to reach the other side, so obviously you still have a tummy upset if you have seen your breakfast beans.
High fibre foods tend not to break down as much, but I would expect your chicken to be unrecognisable:ohwell:
If I were you I would nip into my docs just cos its been going on for nearly a week, or even, as your are in UK ask your local pharmacist first for a bit of advice if you cant get an immediate appointment with gp.0 -
Sounds like your stomach and intestines are on overdrive, and processing much too quickly! They may settle down now your tummy issue is cleared. If not better in the next 1-2days I would ring the nurse at your local doctors and get there advice...0

Call me Mr Obvious, but did you consider asking  a doctor at all, rather than relying on the opinions of unqualified strangers? just a thought.0

It definitely sounds like accelerated digestion after your digestive tract was, ahem, cleared out when you were ill. After severe food poisoning, my doctor recommended eating low-fibre, very plain food, such as steamed chicken and rice, for a few days, and no wheat and dairy. Hope this helps!0

Where else can you go to help someone analyze their "poo"? Gotta love ya some MFP! :happy:0

Any time you have digestive upset with diarrhea, you should follow the BRAT diet, which is what the doctor would have recommended to you: Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast.
Definitely NOT higher fiber foods. You need to slow down your digestion and eat the above. They are easy to digest and easy on your digestive tract. Once you slow down and heal your digestive tract you should start seeing a slower transit time and more complete digestion of your foods.0 -

This, right here!
I had a similar, but from the sounds of it maybe worse case than the op. Either stomach flu or food poisoning, never did figure out. But Progressed from diarrhea to seeing the food I just ate. Believe me, do not wait for it to clear itself up. It won't. You will end up in excruciating pain 30 minutes after you eat anything. I'm talking in so much pain you will get vertigo on the ground and have black outs and fainting spells. You will be completely unable to function. DO NOT DO THAT TO YOURSELF. I let mine go for a month and a half before I went to the doc and this is the diet he put me on. With the exception that I had now done enough damage to my stomach to need a one day water fast and a 3 day clear liquids fast before I could even start the BRAT.
FYI, you're stomach lining is supposed to replace itself once every 6 weeks. Mine took 6 months to heal completely because of the damage I let occur. Seriously 6 months of the BRAT diet. Which is nothing but carbs, and you can't get full no matter how much you eat, you end up malnourished and overweight. And your metabolism is shot because you're body is and has been malnourished for so long. You end up with medical problems anorexic people have, and you don't even get to be skinny. It blows, go to your doctor now!0
