Help! I am doing good on my calories and other things, but I keep going over on the protein. Any suggestions?

Going over in protein is not necessarily a bad thing. Your muscles need protein and this site's recommendation for protein is rather low. So, unless you are eating hundreds of calories over your protein recommendation, I really wouldn't worry about it. At least that's haw I feel. Hopefully my opinion helps.

Go ahead and go over on your protien,
it is the stuff that makes us happy,
it is the stuff that makes our muscles work right.
it is the stuff that makes our muscle burn fat better,
it is the stuff that keeps us fuller longer.
You can also go in and adjust your protien intake. Under goals I think.
I will check it out and get back with you.
HOWEVER! do not forget about your fruit and veggies at the same time.
ALL protien and no carbs does not a healthy body make.

I always go over in protein, it would be very difficult to go so much over in protein grams that it became an issue. Protein is good for you and filling. As long as you are eating balanced with your fruits and veggies too, do not batt and eye over it.

    O.K. heres what you do,
    go to the home page.
    click on goals.
    click on adjust goals.
    click on custom settings
    adjust your protien higher.
    I hope this helps.

  • Thank you all very much!:flowerforyou:

I eat mostly fruit (fresh/frozen) for breakfast.
I just entered my lunch for today. I had some turkey ham and that was 163 calories (not bad) but then 27 to the protein.

It stated my daily protein should be 45 and I am already at 41 for the day and haven't even had dinner. However, I still have 718 calories left.
