    I'm in Jacksonville. I would love a running partner! I usually go with my son in the jogger, or I take my two huskies. There is 5K for the March of Dimes on Sept 3rd that we are getting ready for.

    I'm South of Asheville NC ... heard of Saluda NC? It's about 1.5 hrs from Charlotte. Can't workout WITH you unless we meet at the Charlotte Whitewater Center, but we can be buddies. Would love to have more friends on MFP. I just came into contact with a doo doo head on another forum and I'm not going to let that diminish other great people on MFP. My brother lost 120+ pounds here. He's in KY. Buddy me if you're needing support and want to support another -- NC or not!

    I'm maybe 45 minutes tops from you...I'm in Brevard!! HI NC peeps!

    Jacksonville is on the south coast. The run is in Wilmington which is in the same area pretty much.

    Topsail is about an hour north. Ocean Isle Beach is directly between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach. :happy:

    I live in Fort Bragg. I have to say you guys have a beautiful state, it has been nice living here.

    You should try the western side. It's a lot nicer.

    Fort Bragg NC here......WOOT WOOT.
    We have lived on Fort Bragg for 15 years now and I have to say that the western side of the state is much nicer than this eastern side.

    Anyone up for running 5Ks 10 Ks or half marathons? I am going to run a marathon next August in South Dakota and want to get as many races in between now and then as possible.
