My biggest addiction before doing this was coke and Dr. Pepper. I have since cut my soda out since getting back into this. I will have a diet coke once a week though. I'm not perfect, and still need it, but now it's only once a week. But I have now noticed since I cut soda out of my diet, I'm getting addicted to coffee. I never really liked coffee before and had it maybe once every 6 months, now I have it every morning just about. I was just wondering if anyone else has traded one addiction for another. Or it's just me.
I guess the saying is true. You trade out one addiction for another.

I have a new love for peanut butter! I think that it is my new addiction. i'm not sure what it replaced, I had to give up sooo much, (i ate terrible) but I don't think I could do this without, lol0

I'm in the same boat! I gave up Diet Pepsi and but drink coffee almost every day. I've actually been better with the coffee lately because it's so hot that I would rather drink my water but it's also taken me 3 months to not depend on it. I still have a Diet Pepsi once in a while but pretty much don't drink it anymore and I don't miss it really. But now my coffee when I'm tired I grab it or if I'm cold I grab for it, but coffee is better for you than soda but it also depends on how much creamer and sugar you put in it as well. I just use a TBLS and a half in my coffee and it works out just fine for me.0

Yeah... I think I can relate in a way. I had to go gluten free. Since giving up bread (yes they make gf bread but it isn't as wonderful and amazing as regular wheat/rye bread), I've become even more in love with potatoes. I love potatoes before, but now I'm crazy about em.
At least I'm getting potassium, right? :ohwell:0 -
