Weird question.... deodorant?

I put deoderant on in the morning and when I take a shower after working out I still put it on. If I dont have deoderant on I just feel like I stink. I have to have it on. I have always used Secret baby fresh. And I use the solid. I love the smell of it and I like how it goes on.

I never put deodorant on when I go for a run..I figure I'm going to sweat, I'm outside, what's the harm. Also, I don't put deodorant on unless I am going to work or going out. I, too, think I slap enough chemicals on my body, I don't want to do it if I don't absolutely have to. I have a good friend who does the same thing...and we'd tell each other if we stank...haha.

The only time I put deo on after a shower is if I take a shower in the morning...I have never put it on before bed.... I mean if you have a sweating problem that is fine.... or if someone comes to visit you in the night and you want to smell good lol


I heard that Tom of Main's deo has aluminum free kind, pretty natural, haven't tried it so I don't know how it works... however there is a difference btwn deo and antipersperant (sp?) and I'm not sure if it's just one or it's both

I use Dove sensitive skin...I can get pretty bad underarm razor burn :grumble:

I put deodorant on a couple times a day...I sweat a lot LOL. I put it in after my shower at night, then when I wake up, then before work, or before I have to go somewhere. I am a little deo-happy with it because it smells SO good.

I put on deodorant when I'm getting dressed for the day (which usually follows a shower), but if I was showering before bed I wouldn't. Unless your husband has B.O. I think he's a grown man and knows his body. What's the big deal?

No big deal, hence the smileys and question at the end implying I was the one with the weird habit

And it wasn't a question of before bed, or before working out, before leaving the house, etc .... I'm pretty sure i said "after a shower" and I guess that's just how I grew up.... putting it on after a shower. And btw he might be grown, but I can smell him long before he can :flowerforyou:

If there's an odor issue, do him a favor and complain. He needs to know.

I just put it on when I feel like it, No particular time or place, I just have it in my head that I smell quite nice naturally, but not BO natural, just nice stuff in general. But I do put it on, when out in public in most occasions, just incase my theory is wrong.

I am of the same opinion as some of the others. I put enough chemicals and yuck in my body all day. I like to let it be natural at night. I do not have a sleeping partner, however, so my attitude about that may change after I get married! haha :laugh:

I put on deodorant after I put a shirt on when going anywhere or being around the house. If I shower before bed I usually don't worry about it because I will be showering in the morning.

Funny question but I'm always putting it on... Even if I put it on when I get up and then I might do it before I leave the house again and before bed after shower

I put on deodorant after my morning shower. I will typically not put on deodorant if I take a second shower in the day/before bed. Don't need to put on deodorant to sleep.

To answer the question at hand - I shower, put on lotion head to toe, and deodorant every time shower (night or day). Have to be prepared for anything, anytime

Week days.. I put it on every morning before work. Weekends if I am going to work out. So there are probably days I go without!

I used to use different brands depending on what my skin would tolerate. Dove made me itch and my caregiver was anaphylactic to it. Most others would burn my skin, especially when applied any sooner than 24 hours after showering/shaving. Mom introduced me to a good hospital formula after having to let doctors cut into her underarm in pursuit of a tumor. The smell didn't last long and later burned. Ironically, I had found some relief in a men's formula, but that burns me now, especially if used after bathing. Therefore, although I sweat, it's critical that I stay away from deodorant.

I put deodorant on immediately after taking a shower. Gotta be clean and smell fresh.

I put it on right when I get out of the shower, even before bed. Tend to get overheated at night with the blankets on. I put on coco-butter then deodorant.

If I shower during the day I will put it on otherwise if I shower before bed, I am like one poster said, I give my body a break and wait til I get up the next day.
