How to stop the exercise mat from moving

I just started 30 day shred today, so had to drag out the ole exercise mat. Had a really hard time because it keeps sliding around on my carpet. Any tips on how to keep it still? Going to look really tacky when I duck tape that thing in the middle of my living room floor!

Use it on tiles? Mine stays put on tiles. Or if you exercise on the carpet, use a beach towel instead of the mat, maybe that one will stay put?

If you are doing 30DS on carpet, you really only might want the exercise mat for when you are doing the stuff laying on the ground. For the standing up/plyo/jumpy stuff, don't do it on the mat! Then it will not move. I don't think. =)
