I went by to see Janet's daughter this morning. They were getting ready to head out. They are taking Janet's ashes to Crescent City to spread along the water where they did the same for her late husband. Along with the ashes, they are going to float a Twinkie. Janet and her husband would eat a Twinkie every Saturday night together. It is something that Janet carrier on long all the way to her death.
Her daughter-"B" (that is how she introduced and signed the card. Just "B".), also eats a Twinkie every Saturday night. I gave B my user name and pass word last night so she could see your kind words. This morning I gave her the card and a printout off all your blessings. (sorry had to do it earlier). She was speechless. Here is what she wrote to all of us.
First and foremost, I want to thank each and every one of you for your support, love, prayers, and kindness you showed to my mother. Renee, thank you for showing my mother true friendship and also for showing her that there are people in this world that are truly angles.
My mother called me to tell me that she had been blessed by Renee and her angles. She went on to say that she had met a young lady who cared with her heart and she shared me with her friends who too cared for me with their hearts. For the first time in a long time, she knew she had friends to support her and to help her through her struggles.
She told me that she needed to get a computer so she could meet her new friends.
After she found out she had to have weight reduction surgery, she was sad and on the other hand she was excited to come to my home to recover and us the computer.
I wish you all had the opportunity to meet my mother. Mom was and is a joy. With her struggles, she always smiled. She would tell me that she was going to lose the weight because she wasn't ready to go and visit daddy. She missed him, but she knew he was doing just fine watching over her.
Thank you so much for lifting my mothers spirit and giving her the love you did. I know she would have been so happy to meet you all.
Renee, thank you for standing up for mother. Thank you for being her angle. I know she is watching over you and all you friends.
God Bless you all.
