In reading some of the threads, I'm seeing an awful lot of "newbies" who are totally confused about eating their exercise calories, and how MFP works.

OKAY! Here they are, in all their glory, the famous Banks chronicles. These are MUST READS for newbs! These posts have answers to your questions. These posts are NOT quick fixes! You didn't put the weight on in a few days, it is NOT going to come off in a few days. You have to be in this for the long haul!!
p.s. by the way, my new smile is in (dentures) and other than an extraordinary amount of pain from the extractions , they look AWESOME. Pic in a couple weeks.!!!

definetly, eating under 1200 is a big nono!!!
i have lost 40 pounds and have changed my goals to 1 pound a week, as the cals that the site said for a pound and a half to 2 pounds are way too low for me :blushing:
newbies, ask for help and we are all here to share our experiences :flowerforyou:
