Weight Watchers Smart Ones makes a replica of this sandwich, but it's only 100 calories less than the original, so it's not always worth it.

100 calorie english muffin with spray butter and egg beaters scrambled. even better get already cooked bacon and use 2 slices. this is 150 calories. I'm not sure how many calories are in McD's but I'm sure it's a lot more then that.

I'm lactose intolerant and I'm too lazy to take the lactose pills so I always order it w/o cheese. Only 250 cals! But to make it at home is a good idea too! I would get whole wheat english muffins and some canadian bacon....if you use egg beaters you're right on!

You can also use turkey bacon, egg whites or whole egg, light english muffin..spray butter. If you like it with sausage instead or with jenny o has a turkey breakfast sausage that is only around 40 calories.
Jimmy dean also has them already made and I believe they are around 230 calories..

Thank you for all the wonderful ideas. :drinker: I have never tried egg beaters before however I have seen them at wal-mart and I think im going to give them a try. I had another thought how many calories are in a biscut. Im going to search. Im not a bacon fan so I normally take the bacon off. Ok i LOVE bacon but I have to have it almost burnt.

I have another question. I really don't like the turkey bacon and hate the idea of frying the bacon in all that icky nasty irtry(sp) cloging crap. What is another idea to make my bacon to make it crispy??

You guys are so good at answering question I have to keep asking them.

I really want to keep loosing weight and this is one battle I really don't want to loose change that I will not loose. :flowerforyou:

For me, the biscuits are a bad idea. I had 2 with dinner last night (and only used 5 sprays of the fat free parkay) and when I entered it into the log, my eyes almost popped out!:noway: Those 2 little biscuits were over 400 calories and I cant remember the exact fat and sodium numbers, but trust me it was WAY WAY up there:grumble: So sad, I love biscuits but Im just gonna have to stay away from them for awhile:blushing:

They are good. I bought a large box of them at Sam's club. I know turkey bacon isnt as great but if you spray cooking spray directly on them they crisp up quite well and you can hardly taste the difference...

    my favorite breakfast

1 whole grain, light, thomas english muffin
    1/2 oz slice ham
    1 egg fried in pam
    1/2 oz american cheese
    (calories are 210 calories)

toast muffin while frying egg. put the ham to the side of the egg to warm it up. when you flip the egg, put the cheese on top and place the ham on top of the cheese, this will melt it faster.

English is now ready, slide your egg onto the muffin and YUMMY!!

I have a 1/4 stick of butter for over 2 months. I just take and rub it on the muffin if I am in the mood. Really doesnt put much on there cant even measure, but the taste is there.

This sandwich keeps me full for hours and hours!!

I just read that you don't really like turkey bacon ( there are alot out there that I think are nasty too--try some different brands) anyway.....swap out the bacon for turkey sausage....Wally world carries it!

I love Jimmy Dean D'lites Turkey Sausage, egg white and cheese muffins.

They are 260 cals, but very filling with 18 gms protein.

I make my own at home for around 200 cals. I use the Thomas multi-grain english muffin and liquid egg whites (You can get anywhere).

I put the english muffin on to toast

I spray a small bowl with pam, pour in 1/4 cup of liquid egg white and cover with plastic wrap and put in the microwave for about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes.

Sometimes I have some extra lean canadian bacon I get at Trader Joe's and will use a slice of that as well and maybe 2 tablespoons of 2% shredded cheddar cheese.

Or even a tablespoon of salsa is good too on just the egg, which saves a lot of calories by not using the cheese, etc.
