Support from friends???

Does everyone have support from people in their lives? I looked around me & realized I have no support in my choice of a healthy lifestyle. I recently was in the Warrior Dash & asked for support from my friends that day. They didn’t come. Well..., one person did show up & another got there when I was done. I didn’t even get fake excuses why they couldn’t come…., they just didn’t say anything or show up. It pretty much hurt my feelings. I am forever supporting them. I am also the one who gets everyone together to go to the movies or events. I don’t want to do it anymore. I’m feeling like I need to move on & find people who care about my core beliefs & me in general. Any thoughts out there?

I'd get more supportive friends. My friends are very supportive. Shame on them not being there for your warrior dash

Maybe it was just a bad weekend for them. It's awesome that two came at all. I don't know, because I don't know these people. I would tell them how you feel at least.
  • Yes, my friends are supportive and so is my husband.

Friend me. My name is Christy and I live in the OKC area, but I love supporting people on here. Some of my biggest supporters are on here.
I am doing the Warrior Dash at the end of September and I'm a bit nervous. Did you like it? (other than your friends bailed)
Hope to see you on my friend list soon so you never feel alone again!!

I've learned a lot in life and one of the greatest lessons is just how selfish people can be, including ourselves.

    Feel free to add me!

Thanks everyone. It sucks realizing your friends aren’t there for you. I have been thinking about seeking out others who are more like me. I decided to not be so available to their cause. :-/
