Plateau Help

I started out at 212lbs, then started MFP at around 208 and now im down to 198/199. I think I have hit a plateau because I havent really lost any weight in about two weeks. My eating is...alright (I love salty foods like chips) and while I have maybe one day a week where I might not log everything or go a little over my calories, I try to eat as well as I can. I also work out 5-6 days a week, and do decent burns (usually 500-1000 calories) and I recently started to add strength training everyday or every other day im at the gym (again, not a lot but a few sets for 4-5 machines). I think im eating enough calories, but are the types of food I eat hurting my weight loss, even though my net calories are almost always below my limit? Help is greatly appreciated guys =)

  • Have you tried high intensity interval training (HIIT) such as Beach Body "Insanity" or "Turbo Fire"? They help keep your metabolism high throughout the day. Make sure you're eating 1200 calories per day at the very least.
