Counting the time you do cardio?

How precisely do you count it? For example, I like to jump rope for 30 min, but between every 60-120 jumps I like to take a breather. Should I count this as 30? Or estimate how many minutes I'm spending resting?

I think it would depend on how long the break is. If you break for like 5mins well then yeah subtract that amount if it is only for a minute or two your heartrate will still be pumping.0

Okay, thanks. It's usually just 10 deep breaths so I can go for longer.0
