Guys! Help! I need some food for the footy!!!

Hey MFP Peeps,

I need some ideas for healthy snacks for the football tomorrow night! (Aussie rules) ;-)
Help me -otherwise it will end up being camembert, sundried tomatoes, dip and biscuits! YUM... BUT BAD haha xx

    snacks or dinner? best thing i think is to make sure you have dinner beforehand!! (plus gives you more opportunity to concentrate on the game haha)

    you could do something as a (kind of) healthy treat ...i mean we all need some food love once in a while...and then bc its special only have one and really enjoy it?

    Otherwise i think the best bet is to take fruit...what you can still get eg. watermelon/canteloupe (rockmelon)...take them in containers all cut up in cubes and take a fork or some toothpicks...

    PLUS...you can take cottage cheese, (add some sweet chilli for something different), rice thins (only like 28 cals a slice) and carrot sticks... depending on how much you like carrot. personally im not that huge a fan of raw carrot so i usually cut red/green/yellow capsicum into strips...gives you an alternative to the dips when you WATCH other people enjoying those (the worst feeling)

    It's at 6.30pm game though and we both finish at 5.30pm so it's really a buy snack haha gahh.
    Maybe I'll just get some cherry tomatoes and biscuits? have a little brie cheese? is that bad :S lol.
    I would say it will be dinner!
    I love the fruit idea but its too cold haha, im picky arent I !

    Sundried tomatoes are OK in moderation, and provided you burn them off. Biscuits on the other hand, even savoury ones, are probably not the best to snack on.
