What's going on?

Ugh I'm getting SO frustrated. I had a 3 week plateau in July and broke it by uping my calories. Okay. It's been a little over 2 weeks. Lost the first week but then didn't lose anything the second. This past weekend I went camping and know I went over my calories by a lot on the Friday and I think I was pretty good on the Saturday. Got home Sunday and got back on track. But then on Tuesday I went to Cedar Point for the whole day and can only guesstimate how many calories I burned walking around the park. I have been weighing myself everyday since Sunday to see the extent of the damage done camping lol. I only gained a pound which was okay, but now I've gained another pound and a half, like wtf. Is it because I can't exercise as much? I have a minor calf tear and can only do swimming until it feels better. Could my anti-inflammatory meds be the cause? Should I lower my calories? Increase them? I don't know what to do =[

I am having a similar thing....up 2 lbs in 3 days!....and I am most certain it is from Advil (I have been eating them like chicklets for a crazy headache that is probably due to sugar withdrawl LOL!)....I have been so good with my eating this week and my exercise level has been the same. NSAIDS can really wreak havoc on fluid retention....I think that is my current theory. I would stick to your calorie intake, make sure you are getting your water in, and see what happens when you get off the NSAIDs! Hang in there and keep us posted!

Eeek ! Good theory. I'm going to have to look into the drug I'm taking and see its side effects. Still not happy with the scale though =[ Took my measurements too and I'm not happy with those either

It is frustrating I agree! Just keep your eyes on the prize....it always comes back to eat less, move more...but the NSAIDS are not helping! Don't be to hard on yourself!!! (remember, fluid retention means larger measurements too).
