Wedding Attire!!
Hi All
I was invited to my future stepsister in law's wedding in early october. The invite didn't say anything about the attire, the colors of the invite were navy and cream with fairly formal wording..The ceremony is at 2:00pm and the reception is at 5 or 6 at a hotel. My question is, what should I wear?? I know that I am going to wear a short dress but what color? Is black not okay? Is strapless okay? Need Ideas!!

Coming from a wedding pro (I have been in 12 weddings) a 2pm ceremony is not considered 'formal', and a 5pm reception isn't too formal either. From the sounds of it, you should be perfect with a little black dress! Can't go wrong there0

agreed. basic LBD, but bring a really blinged out peice of jewlery to formal it up a bit if you need.0

A nice dress, any color but white or cream (as to not match the bride) and I don't think it would matter if it's strapless or not.0
