Getting Going

So, I started on this site and I started logging pretty well, was exercising pretty well, and then bumps in the road, stopped logging so well, stopped exercising so well. It wasn't that I wasn't seeing results. I have lost 10 pounds and lots of inches. My problem - no real plan. I have made lifestyle changes over the past few months that will help me going forward (just don't read my diary for today. I have no access to a kitchen today - I swear, I can send pictures!) So, here in front if everyone, I will start with some goals.

1. Eliminate fast food. For the times we take the kids to the play area at McDonald's I will stick with the fruit, yogurt and side salads.
2. Stick within calorie allotment for week. If I am over one day and under another during the week, that is fine. I will look for the average.
3. Lose 1-2 pounds or 4-5 inches per week (as calculated by measurements at neck, shoulder, bust, waist, hips, biceps, lower arms, quads and lower legs).
4. I will log everything that enters my mouth starting today. If it means that I have to finish my diary the next day, then I will.

Good plan. I found that setting goals for myself worked really good too. Good Luck :)

The key to this website is to be brutally honest. Your goals are a good idea. It is a good idea to set mini goals because then your big goal doesn't seem so far out of reach. If you mess up on a goal, just don't beat yourself up over it. It is going to happen. Just pick yourself back up and keep going.
