5 days until Christmas. Wow. The year will be over in less than two weeks (and a bunch of people will join the site). If I make it through the next 4 days without leaving my brain somewhere, I'll amaze myself.
So, I'm up early to gift wrap. Store opens at 9am. Luckily it's not one of those crazy stores that open at 6am. Tomorrow, we are celebrating Christmas with my side of the family - oh, and I'm doing the cooking. The cake is already made - it was a 1/2 whole wheat apple cake - hope it's good. Made the perogies already too. Just quinoa stuffed acorn squash, fruit, bread, and salad - though I'm buying the bread. My mom is buying a ham.
Yesterday, I was glad I got up early as I got a walk in. Never made it to the gym, just another 30 minute walk. Today, I'm hoping for a bike ride during a break in wrapping as it's going to be in the upper 70s today - then cold tonight and tomorrow.
Happy workouts!
Mary

My workout today will consist of:
Cleaning my disgusting apartment at top speed while listening to Christmas music on my iPod. (I've budgeted about three hours of time in which to this, and am currently drinking extra coffee to fuel myself)
I realized yesterday that I live in an alternate universe right now, and didn't even realize it was only 5 days until Christmas. And, as a church musician, I have lots of constant reminders that it's coming. . . I haven't put up a single decoration in my house, so after I clean I'll get out my modest amount and decorate my little place.
Also, after all that, I might go for a walk if I have time/energy. I really am wishing I had snowshoes right now, as there's a trail near my house that doesn't get "maintained" so there's at least of foot of beautiful, powdery snow on it after yesterday. It's very cool that in the middle of the city, I can walk two blocks and essentially be on a little forest trail. . .
Take care of yourselves!:flowerforyou:

Hi!
I can tell I am getting better each day. I still have a couple of issues, but it's definitely better. I really think the progesterone levels going up are what's making the difference.
I did a lot more yesterday than I have in 3 weeks and I wasn't spotting when I went to bed so that tells me it is better. Two weeks ago I would have been full out bleeding. Sorry if TMI. We went driving around to find Christmas lights last night. I don't know if I am ready to sit in a car for 6 hours (to get to San Antonio for Christmas), as it hurts a little. Maybe if I wore stretchy pants instead of jeans. Maybe the pain is normal. I've only been this pregnant once before and that was four years ago so I don't remember.
Today's goal is to wrap a few presents. Then I will rest as much as I can today. We may go look at more lights tonight if we can google the good ones.
V, I just realized that I have a few humble Christmas decorations I haven't put out yet either. Probably won't make it to getting them out. Alex and Dh put the tree up and decorated, but I have little snowmen things I usually put out. Of course they are usually filled with candy, so they don't need to be out this year.
Mary, your lunch sounds good! I hope everything goes well with your get together!
I will go for now. You all have a blessed weekend!

Hi all, last one on again, sorry. I went shopping today and wore my pedometer. I thought I had walked alot but it only said 5857 steps. So much for exercise today.
Hi Mary, your meal sounds delicious. We are having ham too. Some winter squash and carrots and potatos that I grew this summer, so I know what's in them. I don't know what they do to the veggies you buy at a store but I would rather my own.
Vivia, you aren't alone on the decoration dept. I put up the tree and stockings and that's about as far as decorations went this year. I haven't been out on my snowshoes yet, but there is hope for it. We are supposed to get much more snow tomorrow.
Hey MM, glad to hear you are doing better, I am wrapping presents everyday too. Poor you, 6 hour drive is a long one, only takes me 3 to get to Chicopee MA. I got to rub my sister's baby belly when I was down there. The baby wasn't kicking though, that would have been fun to feel. She is having a girl. I can't wait.
Merry Christmas to all. Will try to post earlier tomorrow. Take care.0
