Slight running frustration.

I have been do the C25K for 3.5 weeks now. So far so good. I previously had been doing a low carb diet to spark the weight loss again as I had hit a plateau. I found that I just didn't seem to have the energy I needed to make it through, so I have added some carbs back in to help get that added fuel. Now, here's where the frustration kicks in, and I think it's mainly due to my ignorance on this topic. My scale seems to have stopped moving again. I know this is to be expected since I am now gaining muscle, but how long does this static scale last. At some point I have to start seeing a decrease again...right? Also, I run in the morning as soon as I get out of bed and dressed. So I burn the calories very early in the morning. Is there a "best time" to consume your added calories, am I supposed to consume my "earned" calories, and what am I supposed to eat after I run? Some people say carbs, some people say protein, I am so confused...Please Help!!!
