So I decided I needed to be able to go to the gym and get more motviational support so I signed for a trainer, but OH MY GOD was that a lot of money for 12 sessions. So I'm asking was that a good move? Either way I still have to go, but has any one else lost a good amount of weight with a trainer or the same amount by yourself? I just want to know is this going to be worth it????
Please someone anyone leave me a comment.

The trainer will kick your butt!!! I got 3 sessions free when I signed up for my gym membership (which I no longer have). The trainer will be good to motivate you through the workouts and show you the right way to do things. So when you are ready you can workout on your own.0

I say use the trainer for all they are worth. I like to get the trainer once a month and have them teach me what to do for a month. Then check back in after a month and make changes to the work out, then you don't get bored, and you have to report to the trainer every month so you have to hold yourself to it. Good luck, and enjoy it!0

absolutely. Definitely do Krohnie's suggestion which is to get them to show you different workouts that you can do without them. Also, I press mine for diet tips and other weight loss related topics0

Well, if it's anything like the gym I went to.. I only had free sessions.. but even then when they didn't have a client they were walking around the gym always helping people, and the guy I had would stand next to me and help me even though he didn't have to! Maybe seeing them will give you motivation not to slack off, don't want them to see you slack off! Plus you can't beat the tips that you can take with you for the rest of you life.. I don't think you can put a pricetag on that.0
