Halloween Costume

I have a deep love of Halloween. I spare no expense at building a great costume and do not find Halloween as an excuse to wear lingerie outside and call it a "bee". While I did not graduate college with honors, I did win the department costume contest 3 of 4 years. I find this more appealing to future employers, honestly. I mean, anyone can get some silly gold cords to wear in you pictures, but who else has built a full size Stay Puft Marshmallow Man costume?

Now, while this is a blatantly shameless showing of my past work, I have a true dilemma. its about to be September, and I still have no idea what to do for this year. The above, while shameless indeed, is a showing of my dedication to such a holiday. Last year, while homeless and staying with a friend who was more then happy to help in the construction of Super Troopers, we had to build the costume in secret less her uber Christan fundamentalist mother would not see.

I like having a costume that is creative, original, over the top, and generally from a movie that is wicked popular. I am out of ideas this time around.

Suggestions?

    Stay Puft was also my favorite. Except the part where people thought it was some sort of punching bag and not a large pile of teddy bear fluff.

    Hmm, maybe a female version of a superhero? But with your take on it. Or make your own Catwoman costume. Seriously there is apparently only 2 different costumes available anywhere in real life or online except ones that are homemade

    Thanks. I thought I had read that wrong or something. Not a dude, indeed, just not the most girly girl in the world. Its tough when you work in a male dominated profession. And studied in a male dominated field. The last thing in the world you need to be doing is showing up for field work in cute jeans and heels.

    Would that be sexy nurse or sexy bee? Because I haven't seen much else.

    I have no costume suggestions but had to come tell you how totally awesome you are! I love Halloween too. I always dress up when I take my kiddos out. Never done anything near as cool as yours though :smile:
