So I'm looking to get a HRM. With my insurance they have a program where I can earn points and can spend them on one. They offer polar FT 7, polar FT 40, Polar FT 60, and Polar FT80. The FT80 does come with a trasnmitter to transfer the data onto my computer with the others I do have to get it seperatly. The FT 80 has alot of advanced programs included with it. It's recomended for seriouse fitness enthusiasts I'm not there and I don't know that I will ever enjoy working out but I do have some medical issues that cause me to gain weight and have problems with burning fat, so I know that I will need to always stay active and become more fit with my life style. But it takes more points. I'd like to get one but I really don't even know if it would be worth it. Do I need one. Is it going to make that much of a difference? I can also trade in the points for cash or a gift card. There is something that I was earning the points for but now that I'm getting more into this and it's almost time I can get one my thoughts have shifted. But which one, do I go for the best since I don't have to pay for it but than I won't have any left over money for this year. Do I go for a cheaper one that will be sufficent enough, and if so which one, or do I just get the money and spend it on something else all together? It would be much easier to talk to someone who knew a little bit more about these but I've only got the computer and their description to go by so I need your guys help. Thanks for any advice.
