New to MFP, looking to lose about 10-15 lbs. but need lots of encouragement and motivation. 1st day ended with 335 cals over my daily intake, sucks!!! I'm really gonna try... Anybody out there who wants to be my diet & workout buddy?

No worries! It's your first day, it takes a lot to get used to it. It's my first day too, ended up with 58 over but i got lucky that i am playing soccer tonight. You really gatta WANT it! so what I do is to actually plan what i am ganna eat and count it before I even begin eating it. in other words, if it doesn't fit into my daily counts, I'd choose something that fits, at least this is my plan.0
