Bang my head on the wall frustrated!

I have been off line for a semester while I was taking one of my Master's class. This class, plus work kicked my butt, and took every free moment. Which boiled down to no gym visits and a less than perfect diet.... Can we say Hellooooo 10 lbs!?!?! ouch. Plus I have been diagnosed with severe anemis, which means I have no energy, stamina and I am losing huge amounts of hair.
Now I am depressed and frustrated.
Good news is that I was able to maintain the A in class (and my 4.0) but to the loss of any definable waistline! ouch. I am off now to the gym... and I can't find my Ipod... dang it!
Anyone with words of encouragement? Lord knows I need it!

Well there is the four point OH for a masters program....that is spectacular!!
Now back to you! You know what to do, you have the desire to do it. That is the recipe!!
Cant wait to see your success posts!0 -
does anemia cause hair loss?
that might expain some of mine. lol
Anyway look at it as ONLY 10 pounds not 20!
and try to look at it as 5 weeks of hard work not 2 1/2 months! (at 2 pounds a week)
Good luck with your workout!

Hey, thinking burns calories! :flowerforyou:
I hope you can resolve the anemia issue with some iron sooooon!!
Just keep in mind that you have the rest of your life to change your body, and it's not a complicated thing to do. You are striving to improve yourself in another way--through education. Not everyone has the opportunity to do that, and I think it's a very special and wonderful thing. I found true happiness and love for my education when I realized that it feels just as good to earn an A as it does to lose 10 lbs!

I gained 20 this past semester (after losing 15 due to depression).
I definitely lost my ipod... and.. no 4.0, freakin 3.95. Yeah. Ugh.
So, I think you are in good shape... just understand that good grades will mean nothing if you aren't healthy enough to use them, yes?0 -
Thanks all my MFP supporters! I am back on the wagon. went to the gym this morning (sans iPod) and got on the elliptical for 45 mins at a level 12 and resistance of 8. I thought I was going to die! But, I did it.
I will be back in the game, and promise to make a better effort of getting to the gym AND class AND work..... wee~
Happy Holidays,
