Calories you ate minus the calories you burned exercising.

It's your intake for the day less the amount you burned through activity.

Ex: 1300 calories eaten, 200 calories running would be 1300-200=1100 net calories :flowerforyou:

I Am confused. I have not been losing weight for the last week or so. I am netting less than 1200 because I am burning 500-900 calories per day at times. Should I be consuming more? How can I know how many calories to eat in order for my stubborn metabolism to burn fat and lose weight?
    Please help?????

This website makes it simple. When you go to your homepage there are big blue numbers that say ***calories remaining. Eat until that is as close to zero as you can get it or until you're full.

Here's my problem. I've been burning 1800+ calories from mountain biking daily. Today I ate 1830 cal and burned 1796. I'm full but it says I have 1678 calories remaining.

    Ditto.

I am having a problem with this net calorie thing. This week I fell off the wagon and had:

    -201
    -53
    -523
    +41
    +552
    -1367
    -665

Oh, - is when I was over my 1200 and + is when I had not yet reached 1200.

But my weekly chart on my I phone says that I am only 317 net calories over my weekly goal? Makes no sense if I'm on a 1200 calorie diet! I don't get it. Can someone explain if the app is not working right, maybe?
