This year we are mixing it up and not having the traditional ham or turkey...we are having seafood and pasta like the Italians do...we will have shrimp cocktail, stuffed squash, roasted fall vegetables, seafood casserole, mini Italian steaks, and my brother is having manicotti...

Christmas dinner in my house will be:
Roast chicken (turkey too dry for our liking)
    Roast potatoes (in olive oil)
    Sprouts & chopped bacon
    Runner Beans
    Carrots
    Stuffing
Followed by traditional christmas pudding with irish liqueur flavoured cream later in the day.

I feel full just thinking about it !!! I'm just gonna have a little of everything, so that I don't feel as though I'm missing out

And, I have to make Ham for my Daughter cause the Turkey's always tooooo dry for her!

Thanks for the idea....I haven't had "real" lasagna in over 1 year. I didn't want to make the standard standing rib roast--due to traveling after Christmas---don't want to waste something that good! I asked everyone if they would like for me to make lasagna and got the thumbs up!!! woohoo----
