HELP!

I need help. My room mate brought home two bags of soft baked cookies and an entire coffee cake (works at a fancy coffee shoppe, yes, shoppe). This may sound silly to most, but putting baked goods in front of me like this is like putting cocaine in front of an addict. He (room mate) doesn't eat food (seriously, he dislikes most food), I think he just lives off of sun light, he's like 6' and 120 lbs.

At any rate, I hope other people in the house eat them all before my will-power snaps and I go into addict mode and OD on cookies and cake. I can eat all of them in one sitting. Seeing those tempting confectioneries and not eating them feels painful, like I have a migraine. I ate a salad instead, pretending it was the delicious sugary baked goods. What can I do until they get old and I throw them out or some one finally eats them? Just having one or a tiny taste of one isn't an option because the entire two bags of cookies will be gone by the end of the night.
