God knows. I was on a full time course last week and the only exercise (besides running around like a loon from room to room to various seminars) was walking into town on my lunch break, which is not what I count as exercise.

I think the lunch hour idea is a good one. Or if you drive to work, you could park 30 mins away and try and make it to work quicker every day. Or if you get there by public transport, get off 30 mins away and walk it.

I also work full-time, but my son is in college, so I don't have to look after him when I get home. I am not a morning person at all, it's all I can do to get up and get to work on time. So I generally do my exercising in the evenings about 1-2 hours after I eat dinner. Sometimes it can be pretty late at night..... but you do what you have to do! I also try to get some walking in during my lunch hour at work if the weather is good.

there are some slave drivers on this board! Get up earlier??! my husband works away, so I'm like a de facto solo parent with working full time. I'm extremely lucky as the gym is next to her nursery and I work from home so i can work out at 8am and still get home and be working by 9-9.30.
However if I had to commute on top of that which I was when she was younger there is simply no way.
You're a parent first and foremost and if you work full time you need to spend some quality time with your child, basically when you finish work you don't do anything but parent until they are in bed. By which time you are knackered.
You need to be realistic and for me personally if I tried to fit exercise around that I'd be telling myself porkies, I'm sure you'd have the best intention but it just wouldnt' happen (not without giving yourself a nervous breakdown first).
I guess if you can afford it investing in a treadmill or stationery bike so you can jump on whenever you do get a minute to yourself would be the best option.
