Didn't exercise and feeling blue...

Recently I've been working out at the gym six days a week, and on my day off I usually go for a really long walk so that I still get some form of exercise. I've also found I've been a LOT happier these past few weeks, and I just assumed it was because I was exercising so much and feeling better. This morning I woke up and I just couldn't drag myself out of bed to go to the gym (I'm going this afternoon instead), but now all morning I've felt unproductive and sort of cloudy. Does anyone else get this way?

Yes, I have had a rough past two weeks and have been unable to get much "exercise time" although I have been saying busy and physically active. I have been feeling really down. I'm ready to get back on an exercise schedule!!

My husband noted a few days ago that the days I don't exercise I'm short-temptered:explode: and easily offended:cry: , and am generally unhappy and grumble about everything :grumble: . I hadn't put the connection together, but evidently he sure did! :frown:

I feel the same way. I just don't seem to be very motivated lately. I have 2 months before I go back to the dr. to see if I can be taken off some of my meds so I really need to get wired!!!

Exercise helps to relieve stress and there's an endorphin boost after working out.

That's great! I find I actually have to exercise everyday, even if I just go for a walk, otherwise my mood gets really sour. Who knew? Haha
