Don't worry, I'm not asking about TOM weight gain. Just need some opinions on what's causing this pain. I already made an appointment with my DR but it's not for a week or so.

Anyway, in high school at 130lbs, I had the WORST cramps. I missed soo much school because of it. Then I got on the pill, and they subsided. Then I got on the shot and my periods stopped so the pain stopped. Then I gained soooo much weight from college/marriage. So I finally got my periods and cramps back at about 160lbs. The cramps were not bad at all! But now that I'm 137-138lbs again, the cramps are back FULL FORCE. Why did the fat make the cramps bearable, but now they kill me? Just looking for opinions here...I can't take birth control cause when my husband comes home in January we are gonna TTC. (I have my HSG test on Sept 1st)

  • I don't know why that is. Now that I think about it, I think my cramps were worse when I was thinner. Hmm...

Agree.. My cramps were terrible when I was in school (skinny kid!!).. Now I'm about 2 stone overweight and the cramps are way easier to bear.. I still get them, but they don't cripple me like they did when I was thinner...

Mmmm.... I would have thought that as I got older they pain would get less, but thats not the case. As I got fatter, the pain got less??

Hmm... Interesting!!! I'm really curious now! I thought something might be wrong with me lol. I'm hoping that since my cramps and cycles are EXACTLY the way they were before I got on birth control and gained weight, that TTC will happen easier this time?! I need theories people!
