Question of the Day- Day 35!!!

:heart: Question of the Day- Day 35!!!:heart:


How do you feel your progress is going? Are you losing like you expected? Do you wish you were doing better?

**Me- I am at about 12 pounds lost in 5 weeks. I think that's pretty good and I feel like I am going at a pretty good rate however I did have my first mini goal set at 15 pounds by 9/2 which would be 6 weeks and I am pretty sure I am not going to lose 3 more pounds in a week! :cry: I am anxious to hear how everyone else is doing and if they are going at the rate they wanted and hoping to get some advice and pointers :bigsmile:

    Right now my progress is slow and steady. When I first started trying to lose weight (in March), I was losing about 15 pounds a month. That has gradually slowed down and although I am still fighting to lose 10 pounds a month, I average about 6. I am still incredibly proud of myself and happy that I am at least still losing weight. Slow and steady wins the race! I feel like this is the second leg of the race and this is the part that is really testing my commitment. So far, in almost exactly 6 months I have lost 50 pounds. My goal is to lose at least 30 more and then to reevaluate. These next 30 pounds are going to be a lot harder than the first 50 but I'm ready for the challenge!

    no,, i'm not where i wanted to be. But being that I started at 140,, i allways heard tthe closer you get to where u want to be the harder it is,, so i'm just going to keep trucking,, bc i am soooo not loosing 1lb per week,:(
  • overall I think that I doing pretty good...
    I had my goals set for the first two months at 20 pounds...I was able to do that!
    this month I had my goal set at 8 pounds...I have only lost 2 so far...
    but I know that I have not put in my all this month
    I have done this many times before but this time I have enjoyed myself as well
    I can't be too strict...I still have about 58 pounds that I would like to loose but taking
    it month by month...who knows I might get down to 150 pounds and feel great
    I would like to see another 25-30 off before christmas...
    what I'm most proud of is if I have a bad day..the next day I get back on track
    I never did that before...I feel great...I'm able to run with my boys
    and that really what matters

    Overall, yes, I'm losing as expected. When I started out last year, I had 100 pounds to lose so dropping 1.5 to 2 pounds per week was no trouble. Now that I'm closer to goal, I'm really happy with averaging just under 1 pound per week.

    My only disappointment has been with the last couple of weeks as I'm in a plateau. BUT considering I was on vacation and it was TOM and I started a new fitness program this week, I guess I should be happy that I didn't gain!! AND although the scale's still not showing a loss, I'm pretty sure it's going to happen next week. I feel like I've dropped all the water weight and my clothes are fitting better. Fingers crossed!

    I think I'm doing pretty good I started MFP 4 weeks ago and within that time I've lost 15 lbs. I want to lose another 30 by Christmas, so that's what I'm concentrating on.

    Well not really but I can only blame this lovely body of mine..... no really I don't have dates on my goals just for that reason and I'm still learning my body and how it works. When I started MFP I wasn't sure about this or that , then my logging was here and there so I can understand why l only lost 6lbs in almost 60 days - but 60 days ago I was 6lbs heavier....I made some changes which I think will lead me to my goals....I only record 2 a month same time and day - I am now logging in even if I go over - when I know there is going to be a overage I workout hard....planning and now I challenge myself to reach deficits during the week since I know my weakness is the weekned - that is what this progress has shown me and for that I AM HAPPY!!!!
