Okay, I just had big bad dental surgery on Wed.
Yesterday.... Realized what a chore eating will be for the next 2 weeks.
Is there a protein powder that works well in coffee?
I'm tired and cranky and coffee makes me happy.
Usually I limit myself to 1-2 cups a day, but it would be a great way to smuggle in some nutrition. Over the next few days.
Yes, did a prep shopping trip and got yogurt, cottage cheese, tuna, humus, guacamole, mashed potatoes, TJ's peach pops (really just frozen peaches in a squeeze tube) chicken chili. But I'm not really interested in any of it. All I want is sleep and cofffee.

Can you do iced coffee? I've heard a lot about protein powders changing composition when heated....0

I don't know if you have Costco or a Sam's Club - They have prepackaged protein shakes that actually aren't a lot of calories. You could always put them in a mug and add coffee to it. They come in chocolate and vanilla. I am not sure that protein powders would mix into coffee well - unless you made it iced coffee and added ice and whipped them up in a blender. Pray you have a speedy recovery from oral surgery. You'll get there.0

I'm not wanting to drive with the Meds I'm taking. I've got a CVS, a shop-rite and a Trader Joe's in walking distance
Actually since eating has been so much work for me. My problem is getting ENOUGH calories... Wed. I was under by 800 cal and yesterday by 300. So I'm improving?0
