I see alot of wonderful people here that are so super hard on themselves so i figured i'd come shake my finger at you all. Many of my beautiful friends will call themselves fat, ugly etc and its a shock because when i see them i see vivacious hotties who have endured many things in life and have made so much progress, not just in losing weight but in becoming healthy, in dealing with many things from eating disorders, varying types of abuse and so forth.Take time to celebrate how far you have made it and bask in the moment. Also for those who feel that you messed up today because you went over your cals, you ate something that doesnt fit in your new way of eating etc and you feel like a failure, it happens. You just dust yourselves off and get back on the grind, dont give up or feel like you've blown it, its best to actually give yourself a little leeway so that when these things happen you can keep on moving. All of you are doing so well, you wouldnt be here if you werent making the right steps, so regardless of how far you have to go enjoy the small victories!

Everyone should be hard on themselves. No one else is going to do it and until you meet your goal.. You need to be hard on yourself. People shouldn't baby themselves, just as they shouldn't baby others.0 -
To be to hard on yourself (mackeric) is to not be enjoying life. You get knocked down (whether you did it or someone else did ) then you get back up again. No shame in it we are all human.0

pushing yourself hard is one thing. but what i'm talking about is when people get down on themselves for messing up, we all mess up and if you dont celebrate the positives you will give up0 -

What about the people that are TOO hard on themselves? To the point where they are hurting themselves? I agree with this post. Enjoy your life, but dont forget your lifestyle change. I get to the point of panic attacks if I miss one workout day or forget my lunch. Then I realize my life isnt over...stop stressing so much. Work hard, but be proud of how far you;ve come0 -
Agreed. You're awesome Marius thanks for the reminder to rock out, work hard and enjoy the process!! I adore you for this and many other things of course0

Ok so here's my two cents. If this works for you, then fine. But I'll be damned if I'm gonna let you or anyone else tell me what I am supposed to do. Or scold me for what I'm not supposed to. I love me some me and telling myself that what I'm doing isn't good enough is some BS. So therefore do you, and I'll do me!!0 -
thanks!!! :happy:0
