I'll tell you what I'll do. It worked so far, I hope it will this year as well.

I'll try everything which mum puts on the table. But a little bit of everything. I won't pile up things on my plate, I won't stuff myself, I won't eat as if it were my last chance.

I'll take my family out for a walk in the city center, to take a look at the Christmas decorations. Walking is a very good source of burning calories for me during holidays or even at weekends. Before Christmas, I also plan to exercise on my own in the evening - crunches, leg raises, easy stuff, but enough to work out my muscles.

I will try to look at it positively. If I'll gain 2-3lbs, this will bring me to 0, not to +3lbs.

I know, it's all empirical, nothing well documented, but I really don't want to shadow my Christmas mood by the figures on the scale. And I want to feel shiny and good-looking on New Year's Eve, which I think it's something that comes from within, rather than from looks only.

Enjoy the festive Season - it's one of the nicest in the year and it's not at all only about food! There's more to it - let its spirit fill your heart with joy :flowerforyou:

P.S. Playing in the snow will also burn some cals
