I cycled 10 miles today. OK, with some stops on the way, but all the way into town & back... :D

The last time I tried that - at a slightly lower weight - almost a year ago, I was huffing & panting a HELL of a lot more... I had hubby with me this time, which I suspect helped a bit, but I actually found it quite nice & easy, except for the odd small hill. :D

Go fitter legs & fitter me!

(The 400 calories from it promptly got eaten in coke tho'... Oops... :P)

    very nice. cycling is a solid exercise to get into. you can do endurance cycling...or use the bike for HIIT.

    Haha that's fantastic! That's really great to hear! Just goes to prove that just because you were a lower weight before, doesn't mean you were healthier before :) Great job!

    For people in the UK I highly recommend the cycle to work scheme if your employer offers it. I'm applying for a 2nd bike (my current one is turning out not to suit me now, plus is, erm, a little damaged from impact with a slowly reversing car almost a year ago & it's all paid off & everything, so...) and at £33/month salary sacrifice for a £350 bike plus some accessories, it's well worth it...
