First cheat meal in 7+ weeks. No, really.

Lucky for me, when I have enough motivation, I can have some serious willpower. So it has been 7+ weeks, at net 1300 calories per day. I may have exceeded that a couple times, but not by much. Today at lunch I decided to head over to my fave deep dish pizza place for their single-slice lunch special.

ZOMG it feels so good to be FULL. I'm not stuffed either, just FULL. *contented sigh*

A few more days of eating to my guesstimate of what my maintenance calories should be, then back to the grindstone!

I guess my point is: when you've earned a cheat day, don't feel guilty. Enjoy it *completely*.

    I don't have cheat meals or cheat days. I eat what I want, when I want it. I make sure it fits into my calorie goals for the day, I eat it, I log it and I move on. For me, I found when I did the whole cheat meal or cheat day thing - I started to feel very resentful. I didn't like having to wait for a specific day to enjoy something I wanted.

    I've learned all about serving sizes, portion control, reading labels, etc. Now, if I want a cookie - I eat the cookie. I account for it in my calories for the day and I move on with life. I just find it works far better for me to enjoy things as I want it vs waiting for a set day to enjoy them. It seems more like a lifestyle than a diet this way. :)

    Totally agree...I ate cheesecake yesterday with NO GUILT because it was in my calorie range :) Though I did have to skimp out on other things haha
