Feeling really off- should I still work out?

I was getting ready to go on a bike ride, when I realized my ipod wasn't charged. I plugged it in, and sat down. Almost instantly I became very dizzy and disoriented. Now I feel like I have a fog around me of ... disorientation. I am also exhausted. Should I still do some light exercise, or should I just rest?

drink some water and rest..... the worst thing ever would be to black out on a bike ride :|

I would rest. It sounds like you're really shaky, so you definitely don't want to overdo and pass out.
  • I think it's better safe than sorry. Take a breather.

Honestly? I would rest. Feeling dizzy and such is your body's way of saying 'Hey! We need a break here!'

Make sure you are eating enough and drinking enough water.

I've gone ahead and worked out when I didn't feel well and honestly? Nothing good comes of it. It actually made it worse.

    What they all said.

Maybe some juice and water to get your blood sugar up?

That's a very good point- you're all right. I'll just rest then. :(

this. It might be just stress and yoga and water would help you to sleep.

I'd never workout when I felt dizzy! Sounds like an accident or injury waiting to happen!
  • take some vitamins and relax for today.....you might injure yourself if you exercise feeling the way you do
