I've done hot yoga classesa few times, I felt great after but didn't really enjoy the yoga part of it. I always feel like the classes are too long (90 mins....!). I do a video at home every now and then, which is shorter and works better with my short attention span! Give it a try and see if you enjoy it :) Best of luck to you

It depends on the type of yoga. I really like Bikram. I think Hatha is okay. The rest I don't like. All yoga is good for your body but the styles are quite different.

Depends what you are wanting to get out of it, and what sort of yoga you are doing. I have been to yoga classes that made me so tired I wanted to crawl out of the gym... and I have been to classes that were just a nice stretch routine. I can't think it would ever be a bad thing, good for the spin, good for the joints, just not going to burn a lot of calories from it.

All yoga is good for some strength building and flexibility, but none burn a lot of calories.

Now if you were doing "troga" you would! This was on a scene from "Modern Family". Mitchell did "troga" which is yoga on a treadmill.

At first I considered yoga to be a bogus workout (don't mean to offend anyone here) but then I took a few hot yoga classes and boy were they challenging! The regular classes I don't feel anything but definitely try hot yoga. I wouldn't consider it the *only* method of exercise but something really good to incorporate for your body.

I love yoga! I have some Yoga / Pilates that burn calories pretty good, and some Yoga / Stretching that is so relaxing and does so much ... just not a big calorie burner. I think it is one of those things that either you love it or you hate it, and maybe you will find the style that you love the most. Best of wishes on this adventure. I have never tried the Meltdown one. Let me know what ya think. <3
