When I started in April i was lucky if i could ride my new mountain bike around the block without getting winded. Well on Monday and i was laid over in St Louis waiting for freight to pickup and i found a bike trail near the truck stop I was parked at (yes I take the bike with me in the truck). I got on it and proceeded to ride about 22miles /35 km in about 1 3/4 Hrs during that time i had a pair or road bikes pass me and i decided to try and keep up with them and I did they kept looking back and I was always just right behind them and i was on my mountain bike

Good work! I was in the same position last year... by the end of the season I had 2 100k rides under my belt. this year I'm riding 20 miles a day during my lunch break. I take my bike everywhere with me as well.0
