So I've just been experimenting lol. I hardly eat tuna, but I believe now I will! Made a quick, easy & delicious spicy tuna sandwich!

2 slices of Sara Lee's 45 cals per slice delight whole grain bread. (90 cals total)
1 can of Chicken of the Sea - Chunk Light Tuna - (50 cals)
1 slice of Sargento's Low Sodium Pepperjack Cheese - (70 cals) - this cheese is SO good!!
1 tspn of Sriracha hot sauce - (5 cals)
Total = 215 cals

Honestly it was so easy. All I did was toast the bread with the low sodium pepperjack cheese, I microwaved the tuna for about 30 secs to be a bit warm, and then added a teaspoon of Sriracha hot sauce - mixed it well.. and voila! You have one spicy, tuna delicious sandwich!

I used to love mayo with my tuna but figured I don't even want to try low fat mayo, trying to stay as healthy as I can lol.

What are your favorite tuna recipes??

Oh, another good variation of this is almost the same recipe but switch out the bread with Oroweat Sandwich thins, they are whole grain and delicious!

    I make mine with
    Diced pickles
    Dried Onions
    Low Fat miracle whip
    Tuna
And sometimes hot sauce and cheese

    Modified tuna & noodle casserole:

I make a good sized batch because the family loves it:

Starkist - Chunk Light Tuna In Water (5 oz Can) 3 cans drained
Kroger - Large Pitted Riped Black Olives, 1/2 can
Best Foods - Light Mayo, 6 Tbsp
Ronzoni - Healthy Harvest Whole Wheat Blend Pasta- Rotini, 1/2 box cooked
    Heinz Sweet Pickle Relish, 1Tbsp

    Combine & serve-makes 5 servings

Per Serving: 260 calories 9 Fat 17 Protein 5 Fiber 33 Carbs- A little high in the carbs, I know...my mom likes to add celery too!

Ever tried low fat sour cream instead of the mayo?
