I am too! I have a long way to go, but I am going to do it, and then maintain it!

I see pictures of toned women and I always think " That's what I want to look like."

That's what actually keeps me going and doesn't let me give up. Visualize it through someone else.

I am determined...I actually was going through my closet the other day and saw some 'inspiration' dresses in there. So, my goal is that if I could fit in them when I was about 33, then I am going to fit in them when I am 54. I do have a long way to go, but I have my personal team of pharmacists and pharmacy students using me as a 'project' and I am totally grateful for that. Between this website, my doctor, and my pharmacy team I have a lot of support and a lot ofo people that will know if i don't do good. That helps me a lot to stay on track and i have to do this for the Type ll Diabetes.

^^^ am sure you will start to see improved health benefits really quickly and that will spur you on; I've had really bad tendonitis in one ankle and everytime I took my dog for a walk all I could think of was the pain in my ankle which wasn't very enjoyable. I lost my first stone and the tendonitis has completely gone and I have a lot more energy. Good Luck :D

I have some inspiration dresses too (and a pair of jeans). I did lose 70 pounds before I had my boys and was about 10 pounds over my goal so I have some idea what it will look like, but I'm losing a little differently this time with more strength/intervals so my body could look totally different. I'm hoping to not have a lot of loose saggy skin (I did have some last time so I'm thinking it's likely to happen), but I'd rather have the extra skin and be fit and happy than have the skin not loose because it's filled with fat underneath.
  • Ditto on that! I am a pretty low maintenance girl but I do so LOVE to get dressed up for special events or a girls' night out. My girlfriend is getting hitched in Vegas next spring and she is on her own weight loss journey for her wedding. We are both excited to debut our improved and healthier figures there.
