Upper Abs! I don't have any!

Today I was working out at the gym and I realized that my flabby tummy doesn't hang over my pants as much as it used to! Ha ha ha! I was super excited until I turned to the side... My legs and lower abs are getting more toned. But it seems like the upper ab area is not budging! It's like a big old roll from my belly button to right below my boobs!

What do I do? Do you have any suggestions on upper abs exercises? I hate crunches, but we have this ab rotation machine at the gym that I use every day. Please help! I don't want to look like I'm wearing an inner tube around my waist!

    I'm on day ten of Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and am noticing a huge difference in my abs. Everyone is different and we can't lose weight on only specific spots, but her combination of stregth carrion and and works for me.

    Great advice. You'll need to incorporate more cardio and core strengthening exercises. We can't spot reduce by any means. There may have been more body fat in that particular area, so as you continue to lose all around, it'll just take a little longer to lose it all in that spot. Keep doing what you're doing, as you're getting great results! But remember, cardio is key.

    I know you cant' reduce in one spot, I was just looking for more exercises for my upper abs because I don't feel like I'm doing enough in that area. I do the elliptical every day along with walking and I do strength training 2 to 3 times a week. I'm also trying to get into Zumba. That's not so regular right now, but hopefully it will be...
